Dr. Chris Kates, FAGD, FICOI

Dr. Kates attended Texas A&M University prior to graduating from Baylor College of Dentistry (now Texas A&M College of Dentistry), where he received the distinguished General Dentistry Program Award. Dr. Kates continues to expand his dental expertise by completing over 1,100 hours of continuing education to date. Whether is is a simple restoration or a complex full-mouth reconstruction, Dr. Kates and his team take each procedure to the highest standards available today.

Dr. Kates is an active member of the Dental Excellence Advancement and Learning Study Club, the American and Florida Dental Association and the Atlantic Coast Dental Association. He has earned Fellowship status in both the Academy of General Dentistry and International Congress of Oral Implantologists, reflecting his continued training and experience with the latest advancements dentistry has to offer. He received much of his surgical implant training with Dr. Carl Misch, considered by many to be the “Godfather of implant dentistry”.

Dr. Kates is a highly decorated Desert Storm veteran who proudly served nine years for our great country in the United States Navy. He enjoys the outdoors with his wife, Angela and their two daughters, Kireina and Maia.

Pallie Registered Dental Hygienist

As a high school student, Pallie worked part-time in an orthodontist office where her interest and passion for teeth was born. After graduating from Florida Atlantic University, she completed the hygiene program at Broward College. Pallie takes patient education and preventative care very seriously. She stays current with the latest research in preventative dental care to make our patients more comfortable and healthy.

Vivian, Office Manager

Hello, I am Vivian, Office Manager for Dr. Kates. I’ve worked in the dental field for over 15 years helping our patients utilizing their insurance and making certain that the insurance companies pay their dues owed. I strive to help our patients come up with viable options to fulfill their dental care. Let me be the first to welcome you to our dental office! On the weekends, I enjoy spending time with my grandkids and I am a proud Glam Ma of five. I love spending time with my family and enjoying life.

Jennifer, Dental Assistant

My name is Jennifer and I was born in Jacksonville, Florida –more specifically NAS Jax. I spent my childhood in Orange Park, a town bordering Jacksonville. My dad was Chief in the US Navy and my mom hustled working retail. My parents met in the Philippines priot to my dad joining the service, and married several years later. I am the youngest of four siblings –2 girls and 2 boys, with my sister being the oldest.

I am an avid photographer. My dad bought my first camera when I was eight and it immediately became a passion of mine. In 2005, I stepped outside the box and began shooting for others. My work ranges from maternity shots, to newborn photos, engagements, and even to real estate!

I am the proud mother of three brilliant, witty, and charismatic kiddos. They keep me on my toes, and challenge me everyday (in only the best ways). We enjoy going to the beach, playing video games, watching movies and so much more. My children are the reason I strive to be a better person each day. We recently moved to Jupiter in hopes of greater opportunities and growth, and are excited to be here!

Hello, my name is Martha and I was born and raised in Florida. I earned by Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certification in 2020. I love working with Dr. Kates and Jupiter Family Dental and could not have chosen a better office.

I take pride in being able to comfort patients when they are anxious realizing they are in good hands with our team. During my free time I enjoy exploring the outdoors and making delicious treats.
